Working Towards Zero Waste

In keeping with the Nelson City Council 'Sustainability Policy and Action Plan' the Nelson Summer Festival is Working Towards Zero Waste

We encourage you to Bring Your Own Containers (plates, cups, crockery, etc)

This is a 'Pack it in, Pack it out' event

There are NO rubbish bins and NO recycling bins on site

If you are bringing ANY plastic, glass or any other non-compostable items into the Opera, please take them home with you

All food and drink vendors are dispensing compostable catering containers

There is a compost station in the middle of the food stall area, and a sink with running water for you to rinse your own containers

Production Files

As it is highly likely that the following files will be subject to numerous changes between now and the gig date, please do NOT save them to your hard drive

Opening spreadsheets and RTFs

At the dialog box that offers the choice of Open With or Save As, please choose Open With

XLSs: M$ Excel (or OOoCalc, or any other spreadsheet application)
RTFs: M$ Word (or OOoWriter, etc)
