Please Note: ALL of the following files are subject to change

Please do NOT print or similar before 7pm on Friday

This is a TOWARDS ZERO WASTE event
Pack it in / Pack it out
		No Recycling bins
		No rubbish bins
All food vendors are using compostable plates, cups, etc

There are two Zero Waste lounges - at Manuka and Bronte streets
with compost bins and sinks to rinse your own containers

The Child Cancer Foundation crew and the Road Marshalls have rubbish bags
for you to take ALL of your rubbish (and any you find!) home with you

Let's show the spectators that the drivers can keep the grid clean!

LOST KIDS:
Report to the Zero Waste Lounges

Grid Line Up for Heats, Semis, Finals AND Grudge Races
	All Zoomers' trolleys line up
		 Then all Sprinters
			Then all Rockets

After crossing the finish line, ride your brakes
so that you come to a gradual stop a metre or so before
(but NOT DIRECTLY in front of) the hay bales

NEW TIMING SYSTEM - with Traffic Lights
		Red Means Stop
		Amber means be ready
		Green means GO

The Grudge Races will be used as a practice for the new timing system

SHUTTLES:
Loading trolleys into the shuttles at the bottom of the hill
Load your own trolley under guidance of the truck driver

Drivers CAN return to the top in the trucks and vans

Before you head back up the hill, make sure you know which truck your trolley is on

Unloading trolleys out of the shuttles at the top of the hill
Help to unload trolleys at the top of the hill

As soon as the truck is unloaded, line up your trolley in the Grid and stay there,
moving a little further down the hill after each and every heat

No parking signs apply to ALL vehicles, including trolley drivers utes,
		cars and trailers, etc

If you are using your own vehicle to shuttle your trolley up the hill,
do NOT obstruct the shuttle trucks

No promise of four heats per trolley

If it looks like we're going to run out of time, the first to suffer will be:
			the ROCKETS,
			then the SPRINTERS,
			then the ZOOMERS
So... there is an incentive for the grown-ups to behave like adults and lend a hand

SEMI FINALS
12 fastest trolleys in each grade progress to the Semi Finals
	Seeding the Semis
	   Semi 1: 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th fastest trolleys
in each grade from the heats

	   Semi 2: 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th fastest trolleys
in each grade from the heats
FINALS:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd from each semi (i.e. SIX trolleys) will proceed to the Finals

NIPPERS TROLLEYS:
Trolleys that have made it into the Zoomers, Sprinter or Rockets final AND are being run
in The Nippers need to get back up the hill quickly!
Possibly just pushed back up after Nippers!

CRAZY RUNS:
Do NOT go in the Crazy Runs if you are in the Monarchs. Your trolley will not come back!!

MONARCH OF THE HILL:
2 pushers, 15 metres start gate.
Pushers' feet start on up-hill line
Pushers feet must not cross the lower line while they are still touching the trolley.
The next pair of trolleys will be released as the trolleys before crosses the St Josephs pedestrain crossing
If you crash, remove your trolley - if possible, BEHIND the straw barrier

PRIZE GIVING:
All trolleys will be left at the bottom of the hill after the Crazy Runs and The Monarch of the Hill.

	Concours d'Elegance

During the RUNNING OF THE BALLS SET-UP we would like as many trolleys as possible
to be angle-parked - on the LEFT side of the road (heading downhill) in the 90m ABOVE
the finish line truck - to create a Concours d'Elegance style setting for the Prize Giving

SAFETY:
	Zoomers and newbies:
Remember it is okay to use your brakes until you get used to the hill

	Helmets are COMPULSORY

Collingwood Street will be opened to vehicles in the event of an emergency

Please take care of the neighbours fences and verge

Help each other out, the trolley derby is about having some fun and thrills not stress

	Enjoy yourself
